SHELDON BRISCOE, Born January 4, 1967 to Joseph and Delores Briscoe, began his love for creating art at the very early age of 4 when his older sister taught him how to draw with pencil and paper. During Sheldons formative years this proved to be his medium of choice. Upon entering high school he began to explore the possibilities of drawing and painting with color. Next Sheldon began experimenting with acrylics and water color techniques in an effort to hone the uncultivated talent he was gifted with. Changing direction, Sheldon began to develope his skills at painting wildlife. Since then his love for nature, especially his interest in birds he being a bird watcher himself has caused his love for wildlife art to grow and he's been painting wildlife ever since. Sheldon Briscoe has become a respected nature artist and avid producer of Fine Nature Art. Sheldon's paintings are the blend of his personal love of nature and the strong influence of both modern and classic artists. Sheldon has admired the well-known artists Robert Bateman and Raymond Harris-Ching and aspires to be considered in their class.
